The White Tie AI Visibility Check is a free tool from White Tie. This page explains, in plain terms, what it collects when you use it, who helps us run it, and how to ask us to delete your information.

What we collect

• What you enter for a check: your website, the brand, firm or person name, the category, the market, and anything optional you add (a principal's name, competitors). If you arrived from a link with campaign tags (utm_ parameters), we keep those with the check.
• If you unlock a report or ask to be emailed: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name and company. We also record your choices (marketing email, free re-checks in 30 and 90 days, and an NDA request), the version of the consent wording you saw, and when you agreed.
• A hashed form of your IP address, used for rate limits and abuse prevention. We store the hash, not the raw address. Your IP address is also passed to Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are not a bot.
• Anonymous usage events (for example "check started" or "report unlocked") with a random session id. These contain no name or email.
• A cookie that keeps a report you unlocked open on this browser for 30 days.

What the check reads about your business

To build your report we read public information only: your homepage and site files such as robots.txt and llms.txt (we respect a site that blocks automated visits and do not get around it), public search results and business listings for the name you entered, Wikidata and Wikipedia, and public site-speed data from Google's Chrome UX Report. We never read competitors' websites.

How it is used

We send the check's questions, which include the name and market you entered, to AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google) through a data provider. We then analyze the answers and show you the results. If you unlock a report, we email you a private link to it and let a person at White Tie know, who may follow up once. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and marketing email always has an unsubscribe link.

Free re-checks

When you unlock a report you can tick a box (it is unticked by default) to have us re-check your visibility for free 30 and 90 days later. If you do, we store that choice with the time you made it and the version of the wording you saw. On each date we run the same check again, with the same website, name, category, market, and competitors, and email you what changed since your first report, with private links to both reports. Every re-check email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing, or asking us to delete your data, cancels any re-checks that have not run yet. A re-check may run a little later than its date when the tool is busy.

Who helps us run it

• DataForSEO sends the questions to the AI assistants and returns their answers, search results and business listings.
• Vercel hosts the tool.
• Neon (database) and Upstash (cache and rate limits) store checks, reports and the information described above.
• Resend delivers our email.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a visitor is human before a check runs.
• Anthropic, only when we turn on AI-assisted analysis, reads the collected answers to find the names and statements about you.
• Google provides Chrome UX Report site-speed data, and Wikimedia answers the Wikidata and Wikipedia lookups.

We do not sell your information.

Your report is private

Reports are private by default and are not indexed by search engines. Sharing is opt-in: a share link shows the free summary only, never shows competitor names or answer text, and you can turn it off at any time. Reports about a person are never shared.

How long we keep it

Answers to the general market questions may be reused for up to 7 days, and answers to questions that name you for up to 24 hours, so repeat checks stay consistent. We keep checks and reports so your report link keeps working, and your contact details until you ask us to delete them. We have not yet set an automatic deletion schedule; until we do, we delete on request.

Deleting your information

Email hello@whitetieseo.com and ask us to delete your data. Deletion is confirmed through a link we email to the address you used with the check; the link is valid for 24 hours. Confirming removes your name, email, company, and consent records, detaches them from any check, and cancels any pending re-checks. You can also email us with any other question about your information.
